Read his Day 1 Memo to learn more about fundamental reforms he'll implement to achieve both justice and safety for the people of Manhattan:
@johnlegend This memo has illegal plans, local NYC attorneys have been discussing it for months.
This is what happens when you actually do NOT have the most experience—the candidate with the most Manhattan criminal court experience is public defender @elizaorlins.
Without term limits, Manhattan has only seen 4 district attorneys in the past 79 years. But on 6/22, New Yorkers have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to elect someone new.
@AlvinBraggNYC has the most experience out of any progressive candidate and that's why I'm endorsing him
"In his 'Day 1' actions, posted on his website for months, Bragg says he wld not to file a “predicate felony” statement except in extreme cases. That, we learned, is flatly illegal. When we raised the error w/Bragg, he admitted the flub & said the line was being edited out...
@ZephyrTeachout As someone at 100 Centre everyday, I’ve written about why this Day 1 memo won’t materially change anything. To me, Bragg winning just isn’t worth it, especially when it’s not even clear that he is more popular at all.
