We can confirm that Martyn Moxon, Director of Cricket, and Andrew Gale, First XI Coach, have left the Club today (3 December), in addition to all members of the coaching team

@vanaalst Both teams. Has to be something wrong with the equipment.

Watching the Jackjumpers in their debut match. Don’t watch much basketball, but it seems to me that the hoops were made too small for this game.

Just learned on @ABCNews 24 that the Perth Test is scheduled for the WACA ground, and that Bellerive Oval holds 10,000 people.

Trying to listen to @frankelly08 on ABC’s One Plus One, but failing miserably as massive thunderstorm strikes - noise on the roof drowning her out. Spectacular exit from her RN show earlier today!

@vanaalst Fair comment! But every day that mix of people from different corners of the country seems to come up with something sordid!

Can we possibly relocate Canberra to somewhere between Heard and Crozet Islands?

@mviney @rickeyrecricket Not sure those institutions had 90 years of prior history when they threw the gates open to the public!

@MarkJoseWil @melindafarrell @juzweezy That’s what I am worried about, Mark!

@melindafarrell @juzweezy My weather app showing:
Day 1 1-5 mm
Day 2 5-10 mm
Day 3 10-20 mm
Day 4 5-10 mm
Day 5 1-5 mm

Love the symmetry, but not here....

@rickeyrecricket Charging for the men, but the women’s is free. Interesting message to send.

@melindafarrell Going to Adelaide at nil-all then….

CBannerman (169), top of the list for most runs in one's first Test after the first Test in 1877, was yesterday pushed into 29th place by SS Iyer, who ended with 170 runs in his first Test. Bannerman's descent has occurred at the rate of one place every 84 Tests, on average,

Guess it’s too late now, but I still don’t understand why Fran Kelly didn’t call her breakfast show Frankelly Speaking.

@aussiepiston Yes, strange rule that a game starts with the toss, introduced maybe 20 years ago…

@mviney no, I don't have ball-by-ball data, sorry!

@tigesflife In the case of petrol, the price to the consumer is clearly a function of the price of crude, since the retail price goes up or down (more or less) with the crude price. I would suggest that prices set by business need to take into account their costs.

@aussiepiston Matches that are abandoned after the toss, before play, or those that are terminated before the second innings commences.

One take-away from this is that batters in the BBL are slightly less conservative than those in the WBBL.

@tigesflife I'd accept what you say if it worked both ways. But it doesn't.

So Ban, Pak and WI go through to the women's WC in NZ, with SL and Ire being part of the next 3-year cycle. What about Thailand then??? Can't believe the ICC have shafted them, with no prospect of reaching this position again until 2026. So unfair for these players. https://t.co/GHIbjz2DBi

Crude oil fell 13.1% on Friday. Any chance of my servo dropping its price by 24 cents this week?

No, didn’t think so.

Chasing 146, and you've used 6 overs to get that down to 130, is a novel way of approaching a run-chase.

In the end, that poor batting Powerplay (including two maidens) by the Strikers cost them. The Scorchers make the finals series irrelevant - well played them! https://t.co/MdAIb02fdj

I don’t the Scorchers bowling would allow 10 an over off the last 9….

Tassie come up trumps against WA for the fourth time in four outings this season, thus emulating the 2009-10 season when they did the same thing. Of the eight matches won in these two seasons, Tas successfully chased targets in seven of them.
